Cerrito Church

This beautiful church was built on the same hill where the siege army had its headquarters during the Guerra Grande (1839-1852). The hill is called Cerrito (small hill). I like this inverted view; it goes better with the melancholy of our winter.

  1. Nice graphic treatment that reveals the architectural design elements. The use of negative images is under-used, I think. It is really a good device for showing what is often overlooked.

  2. Thanks, Mike. I stumbled into the negative image after realizing that the white sky was attracting too much attention.
